Basalica Of Bom Jesus Is a Churc in Old goa built by portuguese. Bom Jesus mens holy infant Jesus. Construction work of the church began in 1594 and was consecrated in May of 1605
And this is a world heritage site reconised by UNESCO.

It contains the body of St. Francis Xavier; a very close friend of St. Ignatius Loyola with whom he founded the Society of Jesus (Jesuits). Francis Xavier died on the Sancian island while enroute to Continental China (December 2, 1552).

The Body of St.Francis Xavier remans the same when it was buried. The face of the relics can be seen now also. Once in 10 years the body will be displayed to public. Last time it was in 2004

This is the chamber in which body is kept. Face of the bdy is visible. Due to poor light the picture taken in camera is poor.
